Actor Abhishek Bhalerao, known for his role as Inspector Malvade on the web series ‘Rana Naidu,’ discussed his fear of being typecast in a recent interview. He continued, saying that he was less concerned with the duration of his employment than he was with getting a good product.
I don’t worry about being typecast,” he declared. The types of characters I get make me feel safe. It may be a job often played by a police officer, although the specific police officer and situation will always vary. Therefore, it is most certainly not boring. Furthermore, I enjoy playing these historical figures because it brings out the inner kid actor in me every time I don the complete outfit and take the stage.
Abhishek has appeared in a number of films, including “Chopsticks,” “Little Things,” and “Masaba Masaba.”
At this stage in my career, the length of the role is not as important to me as the significance of the scene,” he said when asked how much he cared about playing a longer role. I’d be honored to perform the part, even if it’s only for a single scene.
“There was a popular article on social media recently about ‘Small role Big Impact’ characters; I’d love to play characters like those and have them become embedded in the collective consciousness of moviegoers through memes and internet humor. That’s how minor figures of great significance can live on in posterity,” he said.
Karan Anshuman’s ‘Rana Naidu’ is the Indian equivalent of the American series ‘Ray Donovan. Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh Daggubati, Suchitra Pillai, Gaurav Chopra, and Surveen Chawla are among the series’s many notable cast members.
