Aleem Khan was named president of the Istihkam-e-Pakistan Party, and Jahangir Khan Tareen named Awn Chaudhary the spokesperson for his newly established party.The founder of the Istihkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Jahangir Khan Tareen, has announced the appointment of senior politician and former minister Abdul Aleem Khan to the position of president of the IPP. The IPP is the new home of the majority of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) deserters.Tareen, a sugar baron and a former close confidant of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, used to his official Twitter profile to announce the appointment of PTI defectors Aamir Mehmood Kiyani and Awn Chaudhary as secretary general and assistant secretary general, respectively. Tareen is a former close confidant of Imran Khan. In addition to this role, Chaudhary will also serve as the party’s spokeswoman.

During this time, he will also be able to attend meetings.

In an effort to dispel the notion that his party was established with the intention of unseating the PTI, Tareen had stated that the IPP would focus solely on the improvement of the nation.He had expressed his regret that, despite his efforts while in the PTI, his new comrades were not able to put in the effort necessary to realise the PTI manifesto, which in turn disappointed the public.The seasoned leader had expressed confidence that further politicians will join the IPP in the following days, and that the party would do its best to attempt to overcome the economic disaster and divisions that exist throughout the nation.
