Amrish Puri’s grandson Vardhan set for untitled international project
Vardhan Puri, grandson of veteran actor Amrish Puri, made his acting debut in the film “Yeh Saali Aashiqui” this year, and he will soon begin filming an international series.
Despite his silence on the matter, credible sources claim that Vardhan was first approached about the project in January and ultimately agreed to take part.
According to reports, the project is a lavishly budgeted American television drama that focuses on human relationships. It has been reported that: “Vardhan’s digital success with the critically acclaimed film Yeh Saali Aashiqui has brought him widespread acclaim, particularly among young people. The young actor, who is also well-known in the field of product endorsement, will be teaming up with a studio in the United States, and production on the series is set to begin in June.”
The production company and director have also been kept secret. In the last few months, Vardhan has finished five films that are now ready for distribution. The list features the upcoming “Nautanki” film by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri.
Veteran actors Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, and Pallavi Joshi will also be featured in the film alongside him.
In addition, he has completed shooting for Kunal Kohli’s upcoming film, Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story. Kaveri Kapur, daughter of director Shekhar Kapur, will make her acting debut opposite him in the film.
He also has the political thriller “Dashmi” and the thriller “Gulab” by Sanjoy Nag, both of which star Tanya Maniktala and were directed by Sarim Momin.
