At the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, Akshay Kumar told the congregation, “You are creating history.”
Akshay Kumar, a famous Indian film producer, and Jiten Doshi, a prominent businessman, recently paid a visit to the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi.
The star of ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ joined in a ceremony to lay a brick for the temple’s anticipated 2024 opening.
Akshay and the delegation had a meeting at the Mandir and toured its pink Rajasthani stone and Italian marble design and construction.
The Swami reportedly told them a story from the African Babemba tribe that exemplifies Ubuntu, which means “humanity towards others,” as stated in the press release.
With his visit still fresh in his mind, Akshay Kumar remarked, “You are creating history… The work you are doing is invaluable, not only to our society but to all of humanity. There is nothing more potent than people coming together to build a new society based on mutual respect and kindness. A testament to your efforts is the saying, “Love can move mountains.” The scale is staggering. What a dream come true!
