The couple, who wed in April 2022, welcomed a daughter in November 2022. Named Raha Kapoor, she appears to be the primary focus of the couple’s attention right now. They’re very protective of her, and fans love seeing how much of a caring dad Ranbir is. People love it when he gets all gooey-eyed and proud about being a dad to his new baby girl.
In a recent appearance on his cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan’s show, ‘What Women Want,’ Ranbir talked about his experiences as a father to Raha and Alia. When asked how he would rate his own performance as a father on a scale from 1 to 7, with 7 representing perfection, he responded by giving himself a 7. He was questioned on what it was like in the delivery room and how he felt when he finally got to hold his daughter. Quote from Ranbir: “I was able to hold her right after her umbilical cord was cut, and that experience will remain one of my most treasured memories forever. Seeing Alia embrace her and hold her close to her neck and chest for the first time was a magical moment as well.”
The actor went on to say that he spent a week at the hospital with Alia. “In the delivery room, I performed admirably. I took a weeklong leave of absence from work about two to three months before she gave birth.” Saif wouldn’t spend even one night in the hospital with me, so I’d say you’re a lovely husband, ” Kareena said. I doubt Alia would agree with me, but I like to think I’m a pretty decent husband,” Ranbir joked.
When asked what he thought when he found out Alia was expecting, he said, “Really, it was a joy. Only excitement was present.” Ranbir added that there have been many sleepless nights. “We have a good amount of help, but for the first two months at least, we had a lot of sleepless nights because when you have the excitement of your first child and she is sleeping between us in bed, you’re alert even with just a little movement,” Ranbir said.
Career-wise, Ranbir’s film “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar,” which premiered on March 8 and is doing well at the box office, is doing well.
