When Priyanka Chopra Jonas announced last month that she was leaving Bollywood because of the “dirty politics,” she caused quite a stir. The international superstar recently spoke to a news website about his plans to create a welcoming environment for newcomers to the Hindi film industry by doing away with office politics and turmoil.
Priyanka admitted that there has been a lot of shift in the industry over the previous decade. When she initially began out, the industry lacked the fresh perspectives of today’s newcomers. She argued that casting decisions should be made on the basis of performance rather than affiliation.
She also argued that audience preferences should be taken into account while making casting decisions. She was also pleased to have the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds. She said that the dramatic improvement in the efficiency of the Hindi cinema business was due to the efforts of the actors of her generation.
Priyanka is slated to be the main attraction in the upcoming foreign series Citadel. Five years ago, the Russo Brothers proposed the concept of Citadel to her. about the course of the pandemic, it was filmed for about a year and a half. The first episode will air on April 28.
