Breaking news: T-Series has uploaded the Bheed trailer to YouTube again now that it has been approved by the CBFC

Bheed, Anubhav Sinha‘s powerful, moving, and timely masterpiece, will premiere this Friday. The film has been given a green light by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), with the caveat that any references to the migration during the COVID pandemic or the Partition of 1947 must be removed.
CBFC has approved Sinha’s film, praising its “vivid and evocative” portrayal of the panic, despair, and glimmers of hope and compassion that followed the disaster.
Of note, the Bheed trailer has returned to the T-Series YouTube channel, but without any mention of the Partition of India in 1947.
After its trailer for Bheed was released a few days ago, the film was criticized for drawing parallels between the migration of the year 2020 and the partition of India in 1947. The film’s production company, T-Series, decided to abandon the project after hearing the criticism and took the trailer down from their YouTube channel.
Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza, Ashutosh Rana, Pankaj Kapur, and Kritika Kamra all play significant roles in Bheed.
