Deepika Padukone’s first film, 2007’s Om Shanti Om, launched her into the hearts of millions. Since then, she’s become an even bigger star with box office successes like Piku, Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, and the new smash hit Pathaan.
It’s been 16 years since her debut, and at this point she may as well be well past her prime in the entertainment industry, if you ask some people. However, she continues to up the stakes in her career with films like Project K and Fighter. She credits her superstar husband Ranveer Singh with helping her disprove the myth that an actress’s career is doomed once she weds. She claimed that Ranveer has always been supportive of her and her goals.
After a vacation filled with long walks, delicious meals, and plenty of sleep in Bhutan, the couple has returned home.
