The suspect in the death threat against Salman Khan, Dhakad Ram Bishnoi, has been arrested
Jordy Patel, Salman Khan’s aide, received a threatening email last week. Prashant Gunjalkar, a close friend of the actor, reported the incident to the Bandra police. Police in Jodhpur have taken Dhakadram into custody and are now in Mumbai with a sub-inspector from the Bandra Police station, where the case is being investigated.
The police forces in Rajasthan and Mumbai worked together on this operation. The information was then sent from the Mumbai police to their counterparts in Jodhpur. Dhakad Ram Bishnoi, of Siyago Ki Dhani in Jodhpur, was identified as the sender of the mail. Dhakadram, age 21, was arrested today and will be transported to Mumbai.
According to the police, the suspect also conveyed a death threat to the father of murdered Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala via email.
Bandra police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against reputed criminals Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar, and Rohit for allegedly sending a threatening email to Salman Khan’s office, in violation of sections 120-B, 506(2), and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
