Only a few days ago, Swara Bhaskar posted a photo of herself and a man on Instagram and wrote, “this could be love!” However, the actress didn’t spill the beans and instead left audiences wanting more. She recently shocked the world by announcing her engagement to political activist Fahad Ahmad. Through a video, she and her fiance shared their engagement news and wedding plans.
According to the certificate in her video, Swara and Fahad were married in court on January 6, 2023, under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. In a letter she emailed to tell everyone the news, Swara said, “It’s not uncommon to look high and low for something that’s actually been right under your nose the whole time. We came here seeking love but ended up with friendship instead. We eventually located one another. My heart warmly welcomes you, @FahadZirarAhmad It’s a mess, but it’s all yours!”
It all began when Fahad invited her to attend the wedding of her sister, but she had to decline at first because of her work. After much anticipation, the first photos of the newlyweds have been released, and they look very much in love. Swara wears a stunning mauve saree with matching maang teeka, and Fahad coordinates his beige kurta and maroon jacket. They compliment each other very well.
