A brand new video and release date for Hammerwatch II have been released

Hammerwatch II
Crackshell has been teasing their forthcoming sequel to Hammerwatch for several years, but today they finally unveiled the entire game. Hammerwatch II, developed and published by Modus Entertainment, will release this summer for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch.
Both the original Hammerwatch from 2013 and its sequel, Heroes of Hammerwatch, released in 2018, have become staples of the independent hack-and-slash genre. They stand out for the quality of the cooperation between players. With the addition of a day/night schedule and a “entirely new” mapmaker, Hammerwatch II promises to be just as exciting as its predecessor. The press statement also mentions “smarter enemy AI,” which is odd for a Gauntlet-like game.
Ghost canines are featured prominently in the trailer that was released in tandem with the news. Dungeons and monsters, too!
According to the press release, a limited version of Hammerwatch II will be sold physically and digitally upon the game’s release. You can get “the original remastered Hammerwatch,” “character color palettes,” “facial items,” and a vocal pack for forty dollars (USD) with the purchase of Hammerwatch II: The Chronicles Edition. I don’t know if this is a re-release or a re-master of Hammerwatch, or what changes, if any, have been made.
Even though I haven’t shown any interest in playing Hammerwatch, Steam seems to believe I should because it keeps showing up in my recommendations. Having just one friend is exhausting, despite how cool it appears. Having three pals is something I simply cannot fathom.
The second installment of Hammerwatch will be released this summer for PC, Xbox One X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
