Siddharth Anand discusses his film Fighter and says Hrithik Roshan is “like a chameleon” because of how easily he can change his appearance

Hrithik Roshan is “like a chameleon”
Director Siddharth Anand is currently immersed in production on his next action thriller, Fighter, following the massive success of Pathaan. The film’s announcement caused quite a stir, as its star-studded cast of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone were expected to deliver. Siddharth revealed more about his relationship with Hrithik in a recent interview.
Speaking with India Today, Siddharth discussed Hrithik’s role in the action film. The man spoke thusly: “The three films I’ve done with Hrithik Roshan have all required me to play very different characters. The characters of Rajveer (Bang Bang!) and Kabir (War) are not the same person and have very different personalities. His portrayal of Patty in Fighter is entirely his own.”
He went on to say that Hrithik’s natural talent for quick adaptation is what motivates him to fully immerse himself in each role. As he continued, “Hrithik, meanwhile, can blend in anywhere. He just adapts and becomes that character for that whole year. He infuses the role with an authenticity that can endure throughout a series. As a result, it’s not an act; he truly adopts the persona he adopts at that time.”
Their first on-screen pairing will be in Fighter, which is said to be based on the lives of Indian Air Force pilots and feature both Hrithik and Deepika in the roles. In addition to Akshay Oberoi and Karan Singh Grover, the film also stars the legendary Anil Kapoor. Beginning of the new year is when you can anticipate seeing the film.
