Taylor Swift has been the target of a stalking and harassment investigation in Indiana.According to reports, Taebel travelled all the way from Long Beach, Indiana, to Swift’s apartment in Nashville on May 5th.An individual who lives in Indiana has been detained and is being accused of following and harassing Taylor Swift for a period of time that spans several months.Mitchell Taebel, a person of the same name who is 36 years old, was brought into jail on June 2 and is presently being held in the LaPorte County Jail, as reported by CNN. The allegations against him include both stalking and intimidating the victim, as well as invading her privacy.

Swift and members of her management team allegedly received threatening communications from Taebel between the months of March and May of this year. Although Taylor Swift is not specifically identified in the affidavit submitted to the LaPorte Superior Court, the document contains a number of references to the singer. These references include comments of her previous boyfriend Joe Alwyn, her management team 13 Management, her ongoing Eras Tour, and a song from her most recent album.

According to the affidavit, on March 29, Taebel sent a voice message to Swift over Instagram in which he expressed his desire to act as a human shield in the event that he was unable to be with the person he believed to be his soul mate. In addition, the affidavit alleges that Taebel sent messages to those who are intimately affiliated with Swift, such as her dancers and her father.According to reports, Taebel made the trip from Long Beach, Indiana, to Swift’s home in Nashville on May 5. However, security took him off the premises under their supervision. Later that day, on the same day, Taebel proceeded to Nissan Stadium, where Swift was performing, but he was recognised by security and removed from the grounds with the assistance of both venue personnel and security officers.

In spite of the fact that a temporary restraining order was issued on May 11 after being requested by the legal counsel for 13 Management and served to Taebel on May 13, the affidavit states that he continued to violate the restraining order and send communications to Swift throughout the month of May, at least until May 18 of that year.On June 1st, a bond in the amount of $15,000 was imposed for the charge of stalking. The next time Taebel will be in court is on July 27.
