Saif Ali Khan, who had been filming in Amritsar for the past month, returned to Mumbai on Tuesday to celebrate the second birthday of his youngest child, Jehangir.
Even though Jeh is more of his mother Kareena Kapoor Khan’s boy than Saif is, Saif wouldn’t miss this event for the world. Kareena celebrated her son Jeh’s second birthday by posting two photos of him looking grumpy earlier in the day. These images were taken on the set of Kareena and Hansal Mehta’s upcoming film.
Saif had previously expounded at length on his relationship to Taimur and Jehangir. I must admit that Jeh is very much a daddy’s boy. He has an intense maternal bond. We’re all pretty close to Kareena. A little more so than most, Jeh is attached.
Saif may have a stronger bond with Taimur, but his love for Jeh is undiminished. A close friend said, “He is very sweet. The arrival of a new baby into the home is one of life’s greatest blessings. I anticipate drawing him closer to me as he starts talking (laughs). Aww, Kareena and Jeh are so sweet together.
Saif had said, “Tim has grown up quickly after Jeh’s arrival,” referring to Taimur’s sudden maturity after the birth of his younger brother. No longer the baby, Tim has grown up. In this case, he submits to Jeh’s beating. And Jeh is the object of his undying love. He treats him gently and carefully, and he is very patient.
