Outside his home, Sooraj Pancholi was seen handing out sweets to the media after receiving a stay of proceedings from the special CBI court in the 2013 suicide case involving Jiah Khan.
Sooraj is shown in the film thanking the photographers who had gathered outside his home to express their congratulations for him. He politely ignored the photographers’ requests for comment on the ruling and left after expressing his appreciation.

On June 3, 2013, in the Mumbai district of Juhu, 24 year old Jiah was discovered dead by suicide. Pancholi was taken into custody by the Juhu police on June 10th, 2013. After over a month in jail, on July 3 he was finally released on bail from the Bombay high court.
