A passionate supporter of the beautiful game, Arjun Kapoor is a true fan. If you’re following him on social media, you probably already knew that. It’s not uncommon to see the actor out on a Sunday playing football with his coworkers Ranbir Kapoor, Sujit Sarkar, and Abhishek Bachchan.
Boney Kapoor Jr., Boney Kapoor’s son, recently met former professional football player and manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, and he posted an Instagram of the meeting to show off his fanboy moment. Arjun’s first clip shows the actor meeting the manager and shaking hands. Arjun captioned the photo, “It was surreal to finally meet the legend. The reason I got into sports in the first place thanks to @chelseafc.” An animated GIF of Arjun and Jimmy laughing together.
Jimmy shared an Instagram photo of him and Arjun, both dressed in all white. He ended their meeting by tweeting, “It was great meeting you, @arjunkapoor.” Arjun responded to Jimmy’s comment by writing, “In all honesty, it was my pleasure… Hello, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I really hope that you have an amazing time in Mumbai and the rest of India.” Arjun just couldn’t shake that giddy feeling. Arjun posted the photo to Instagram with the caption, “Small joys of life when ur profession allows you to meet the man behind you about a sport and a team.”
Arjun, Tabu, Radhika Madaan, and Konkona Sen Sharma were recently seen in the dark comedy film “Kuttey,” directed by Aasmaan Bhardwaj.
Soon, he’ll be seen in “The Ladykiller,” an upcoming action thriller, alongside Bhumi Pednekar, and in another film, a romantic comedy starring Bhumi Pednekar, Rakul Preet Singh, and an unnamed female lead.
