Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai’s ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ clocks 15 years

Time sure does fly by! ‘Jodhaa Akbar,’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has been around for 15 years now.
The film ‘Jodhaa Akbar,’ directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, followed the life of a Rajput princess who, for the sake of her country, is forced to wed the Mughal emperor. The princess agrees, but only under her own conditions. The Emperor’s love and devotion eventually sway her.
Ashutosh shared a sweet message on Instagram in honour of the film’s 15th anniversary: “The marriage of Jodhaa and Akbar has become an enduring icon of a man and a woman who treat each other with the utmost respect and tolerance. We’ve made it 15 years since we first set out on the path that would bring their immortal love to the big screen, and for that we’re grateful.”
Ashutosh has also released a video featuring a memorable scene from the movie.
Aishwarya and Hrithik collaborated on the 2006 film Dhoom 2 before ‘Jodhaa Akbar.
Aishwarya and Hrithik will appear in a number of films in the coming months. Hrithik has the Deepika Padukone film “Fighter” in his reel. Under Siddharth Anand’s Direction Opening in theatres on January 25, 2024, ‘Fighter’ also features the talents of Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover, and Anil Kapoor in key roles. It’s the first time the two actors have worked together on screen. In addition to Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte, Hrithik was recently seen in the crime thriller “Vikram Vedha,” which was met with positive reviews.
However, Aishwarya will be appearing in “PS 2.” One of the biggest hits of 2022 was the historical drama “Ponniyin Selvan,” which was released on September 30 and starred Jayam Ravi, Chiyaan Vikram, Keerthy Suresh, and others.
