Star of “Kaagaz 2,” Smriti Kalra, reflects on her final conversation with Satish Kaushik via text message two days before his death, describing him as “a complete school in himself.”

Smriti Kalra, who appears in Satish Kaushik’s upcoming film “Kaagaz 2,” recently recalled texting the late actor-director two days before his untimely death from a heart attack.
Smriti spilled the beans on the subject, saying that Satish had recently complimented her after seeing one of her commercials. She claims he was the type of person who delighted in the achievements of others and served as a source of inspiration to those around him. The actress went on to say that in her final text to him, she promised to continue to make him proud.

She also noted how fortunate she is to have had him as her director for ‘Kaagaz 2’. She said that he was a university all by himself. She also shared details about the actor-ambitious director’s posthumous film project, titled “Kaagaz 2,” which he tragically never saw completed.
Smriti, when asked about the impression Kaushik made on her, said that she is still in shock and that it is hard to talk about him in the past tense. The late actor’s passing has hit the actress harder than she anticipated. We all have a lot of friends, but only a select few will be there to cheer you on through thick and thin, in her opinion. She knew she was on the right track because of his faith in her.
