President Dr. Arif Alvi presided over the swearing-in ceremony for the 16-person caretaker federal government at the President House. This thing happened on a Thursday. Anwaarul Haq Kakar, the president’s caretaker prime minister, gave him advice on who to nominate and helped him choose three advisers and five special assistants. Several notable people, including interim Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, were present at the event.

Swearing in and Portfolio Distribution

The ritual began with a recitation from the Quran and the national anthem. Attendees included politicians, celebrities, and even the interim prime minister of Pakistan, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar. After taking the oath, the temporary prime minister assigned responsibilities to the caretaker ministers, advisers, and special advisers.

Distribution of Crucial Investments

Shamshad Akhtar, a former governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, now oversees several departments, including Finance and Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics, and Privatisation. The ministries of Interior, Overseas Pakistanis, and NARCO were all given to Senator Sarfraz Bugti. The Minister of Foreign Affairs is the former Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani. Dr. Gohar Ejaz, a pioneer in the textile industry, was awarded the portfolios of Trade and Industry.

Expansion and Further Specification

The temporary prime minister has called for the first cabinet meeting to take place this coming Friday. It’s possible that the federal cabinet will grow in the near future. Caretaker cabinet members may be tasked with filling vacant positions in ministries including Food Security, Inter-Provincial Coordination, and Housing and Works.
