In a recent interview, actress Kangana Ranaut said that Deepika Padukone’s role as a presenter at the 95th Academy Awards is proof that Indian women are superior.
Kangana gushed about Deepika’s appearance on social media, specifically Twitter and Instagram.
“It can’t be easy for @deepikapadukone to stand there with the nation’s image and reputation resting on her tiny shoulders while she speaks with such grace and assurance. To this day, Deepika remains a towering example of why Indian women are universally regarded as some of the best in the world “On Monday, Kangana sent an email.
In her role as celebrity host, Deepika revealed that a live performance of the Oscar-winning song “Naatu Naatu” would soon be taking place. A “total banger,” in her words, was the song’s description.
According to the actress: “The next song is a worldwide smash because of its infectious chorus, pulsating rhythms, and killer dance moves. RRR is a film based on the real-life friendship of Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaran Bheem, and this song is featured in a pivotal scene. It’s a total banger, sung in Telugu, and it perfectly captures the film’s anti-colonial themes.”
After that, she went on to say: “It’s the first song from an Indian production to be nominated for an Academy Award, and it’s gotten millions of views on YouTube and TikTok and has people dancing in movie theatres all over the world. If you don’t already know the name “Naatu,” you soon will.”
Kaala Bhairava performed the song live, and the international dancer swayed to the pulsating beat and energising lyrics.
