KGF star Yash on his meeting with PM Narendra Modi: ‘He has a big vision for the film industry’

The 14th annual Aero India was officially opened in Bengaluru by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi met with the A-listers of Kannada cinema on the sidelines of the aerospace expo. He met Yash, star of KGF, and Rishab Shetty, star of Kantara, the film that brought Kannada cinema to the attention of the world.

Yash addressed the media after his meeting with PM Modi, discussing the topics discussed. What he meant to say was, “He was expressing his thing about our industry,” he explained. And what a vision he has… Also, he listened intently as we shared with him our hopes, fears, and ideas for the future of our industry and the country.
He continued, “We were able to talk to him about it because we were given the chance.” Additionally, he invited everyone to come get anything they might need. His understanding of the industry and the potential we have as a team impressed me greatly. The film industry, he said, is a “soft power.” He sees the industry as a whole and has grand plans for it. He complemented us on our efforts. In short, it was fantastic. The Prime Minister, as usual, gave a stirring speech.

Shraddha, an Instagram star from Bengaluru who became famous after posting a video about widespread layoffs in the corporate sector, met with PM Modi. She posted a photo of herself with the Prime Minister on Instagram with the caption, “Namashkar, yes, I met the Honorable Prime Minister of our Country. Aiyyo! was his first word to me. This is my “O my Jod, he really said that this is really happening!!!!” expression, and no, I’m not blinking. In gratitude, “Thank you, @narendramodi ji”
