The ex-Miss Universe Lara Dutta got to collaborate with acclaimed filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, which was a lifelong goal of hers. ‘Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley,’ Vishal’s over-the-top debut film, included Lara in an on-screen role.
On Sunday, Lara posted a thank-you card to the filmmaker on Instagram. Lara captioned a photo she had taken with Vishal and his wife Rekha Bhardwaj, “Yes, you can materialise your reality!! It’s a dream come true to collaborate with Vishal sir and Rekha ji. One that I’ve been anticipating with great anticipation and prayer! Both of them have my undying affection, adoration, and respect. In the photo, Lara wears a white kurti and has her hair down.
Based on Agatha Christie’s mystery novel The Sittaford Mystery, “Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley” is a mystery film set in India. Streaming-only media will debut the show.
The story centres on Charlie Chopra, who travels to the Himalayas in search of the truth about a dark mystery. Vishal Bhardwaj, Anjum Rajabali, and Jyotsna Hariharan are the show’s co-screenwriters. Bhardwaj also serves as director and co-producer.
Wamiqa Gabbi, Priyanshu Painyuli, Naseeruddin Shah, Neena Gupta, Ratna Pathak Shah, Gulshan Grover, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Paoli Dam are just a few of the well-known actors who appear in the series.
The 2021 film “Bell Bottom,” starring Akshay Kumar, featured Lara in the character of the late Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The way Lara dressed in the film generated a lot of buzz.
The former Miss Universe debuted on the internet in 2020 with the original series “Hundred” from OTT. She went on to star in shows like “Hiccups and Hookups” and “Kaun Banegi Shikharwati” afterward.
