Karan Johar posts stunning footage from Kashmir on Instagram and declares, “meri performance pe mat jao.”

Director Karan Johar is making his return to the industry after a seven-year break. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was his most recent film, and it starred Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, and Aishwarya Rai. Although it was only moderately successful at the box office, the audience adored the tragic love story. Casting Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, director Karan Johar is finally ready to bring the film to theatres.
Karan recently posted a video to his Instagram account from Kashmir to announce that filming in that region for the movie is complete. Karan could be glimpsed throughout the video, donning a silver puffer coat, gloves, sunglasses, and other winter accessories to ward off the bone-chilling cold as he filmed the unadulterated beauty of Kashmir. Karan posted a video of himself singing along to Roja’s “Yeh Haseen Vadiyan Yeh Khula Aasman” and captioned it: “My emotions were in harmony with my performance. Leaving stunning Kashmir behind for good. With the help of cameraman @shaunagautam, this has been Karan Johar saying goodbye.”
Previously, Karan had posted a colourful montage of clips from a few of his films, along with the following text: “All the colours of the rainbow be with you always, and may happiness and success fill your days. Our entire Dharma family wishes you a joyous Holi! ♥️♥️♥️#happyholi.”
His Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani lead actor Alia Bhatt too, took to her IG handle to share a ‘rangeeli’ pic of hers while posting, “happy holi from a very rangeeli rani reporting straight from the sets of #rockyaurranikipremkahani ❤️🧡💛💚💙”.
