Happy in-law mother Neetu Kapoor posted a photo of Alia Bhatt at the Met Gala and praised her “stunning” appearance. Look inside!

Met Gala
At her first Met Gala, Alia Bhatt turned heads in a white, pearl-studded gown by Nepalese-American designer Prabal Gurung. Alia hit the red carpet looking stunning, and her fans went wild over her understated yet elegant ensemble.
Here’s Nick Jonas’s wife Priyanka Chopra imitating Doja Cat:
While posting her outfit on Instagram, Alia paid tribute to this year’s theme designer, the late Karl Lagerfeld. “Met Gala — Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” she titled her piece. Chanel’s famous brides have always piqued my interest. Karl Lagerfeld’s artistry was on full display in the most cutting-edge and breathtaking haute couture collections season after season. This, in particular supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal dress, was the inspiration for my outfit tonight.
“I wanted to do something that felt authentic (hello, pearls!) and proudly made in India,” she continued in her essay. Using 100,000 pearls, @prabalgurung’s needlework was a labour of love. I can’t wait to wear you to the Met for the first time!
A girl can never have too many pearls,” she added. and the finishing touch, which in this case was the bow of pearls I wore in my hair. It’s also white, which is perfect for my Choup-ED.
Alia’s friends and followers were effusive in their praise in the comments section of her post. Neetu Kapoor, her mother-in-law, posted a photo of her outfit to Instagram and captioned it with the word “stunning” and a smiley face and heart emoji. Alia shared her tale again and wrote “Love you” with a red heart emoji as a response.
