Priyanka Chopra and her former stylist, Law Roach, have called it quits after an apparent misunderstanding regarding the star’s size.
Last week, the American designer said, “The politics, the lies and false narratives finally got me!” and has been in the news ever since. I’m giving up; you’ve won. His resignation as a stylist was made clear in the statement. He has, however, made it clear that he is not retiring from the fashion design industry and that he will continue to be associated with Zendaya.
Nor is the remark about the study “not being sample-sized” being used to explain his departure from the workforce. Retirement news broke after a seating arrangement at the Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week show.
The designer claims that Priyanka Chopra Jonas misunderstood a comment he made and is upset by it. He also claims that he never made the comment in question. It was “a bit hurtful in a way that it ended up in the press,” he says now. He insists he never mentioned Priyanka being too small for the study. Priyanka has also spoken publicly about how she was hurt by a designer’s “insensitive” comments about her body size. She did not mention Roach by name.
Roach was upset by this remark and responded by saying it was impossible. He claimed he had been dressing her well in advance of the pandemic and that all of his choices had turned out well.
