On Wednesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made the announcement that all-rounder Fatima Sana, a batter who is 21 years old, will be the captain of the Pakistan side for the forthcoming ACC Emerging Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup. Fatima Sana expressed her gratitude for being given the opportunity to lead the squad in the competition, which is going to take place in Hong Kong the following month. Additionally, the women’s national selection committee has finalised a 14-player squad in preparation for the competition, which will include a total of eight teams. The competition is scheduled to take place between the 12th and the 21st of June this year.


“It is an honour for me to be given the role of captain for Pakistan in the next competition. “The responsibility of leading the emerging side will definitely help me develop as a cricketer, and I am eagerly looking forward to leading my team in this important tournament,” Sana remarked, conveying her excitement at the opportunity. Sana is excited about the opportunity since it will allow her to lead her team in an important tournament.The cricket player, who is 21 years old, went on to say that the other players are brimming with enthusiasm and are ready to compete in the competition.

I have no doubt, that she will, guide this team, by setting a good, example for her teammates.”
