Fans of Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, “Pathaan,” react to the inclusion of some unused scenes in the digital download
‘Pathaan’ releases on OTT
‘Pathaan,‘ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, is now available on over-the-top (OTT) services after its massive success in theaters. Not only has it broken all previous box office records for a Hindi film, but many viewers have committed to memory entire sequences of action because they enjoyed them so much.
Some interesting extras have been included in the digital release of “Pathaan” that weren’t included in the theatrical release. However, followers are dismayed to find Pathaan releases on OTT rather than in theaters. Included in this list are the scene in which SRK’s character is tortured by the Russians and the one in which Khan enters the JOCR office. The theatrical cut also lacks an interrogation sequence featuring Deepika.
A devoted listener tweeted, “The deluxe edition is (fire emoji). Those cut scenes were important and should not have been cut. It was great fun to see PATHAAN again on television. The entry scene in #SRK #Pathaan is next level, according to another user.
The scene where Pathaan returns to JOCR was described as “bloody good” by a follower on Twitter. SRK I’m not sure why it was taken down. Both of them are plotting an attack on Jim’s laboratory. Would have made the whole laboratory scene more convincing.
Meanwhile, SRK is in the midst of filming Atlee’s ‘Jawan’ after the tremendous success of ‘Pathaan. Sanjay Dutt reportedly joined the set yesterday to film some dramatic scenes. In the movie, Dutt will make a quick but significant presence. After the success of “Pathaan,” rumors have it that Deepika will work with Shah Rukh again in the upcoming film “Jawan,” in which she would have a cameo role. On March 26 and 27, the actress is rumored to film alongside Khan.
