Wife Patralekhaa gets overwhelmed after seeing husband Rajkummar Rao win Best Actor at a Bollywood award show

At the 68th Annual Filmfare Awards, actor Rajkummar Rao took home the coveted black lady for his performance in the film Badhaai Do.
Patralekhaa, an actor and his wife, was moved to tears by his success. She posted an uplifting message on Instagram to commemorate Rajkummar’s success.
“Raj, this is fantastic news; the film is very significant. This one has always stood out to you as exceptional. I’ll never forget how emotional you were after acting out the scenario where you tell your mother and relatives about your sexual orientation. She wrote, “When you donned those spectacles in the film, time stood still. It symbolised acceptance of oneself.
Patralekhaa discussed his preparation for the role in ‘Badhaai Do‘.
It was mind-blowing to witness the results of your diet and exercise regimen. His diet consisted only of broccoli and low-fat paneer.I should not have been surprised that this was yet another fantastic showing by you.And now you leave with the Filmfare Popular Award for Best Actor. Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, and Sanya Malhotra reprise their roles from the National Award–winning film “Badhaai Ho,” directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni.
Bhumi Pednekar portrayed Suman Singh, a physical education teacher at a high school in the film who develops romantic feelings for a female student. To get away from her family, she marries Shardul Thakur (Rajkummar), a police officer. The plot thickens when Rajkummar’s character comes clean as a gay as well.
Rajkummar Rao will next be seen in the sports drama “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi,” costarring Janhvi Kapoor, and the biographical “SRI,” costarring Alaya F.
