Meet The Main Characters Of The New Pokémon Anime Coming This Year

A new teaser trailer for the upcoming Pokémon reboot has been released by The Pokémon Company.
In December, The Pokémon Company announced that the long-running Pokémon anime starring Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu would be ending soon and being replaced by a new Pokémon anime starring two new protagonists. Loko, “the girl with the awe-inspiring pendant,” and Roy, “the boy with the mysterious Poké Ball,” are the two new main characters introduced in a new trailer released by The Pokémon Company. Additionally, Friede, the anime’s Professor, is shown again alongside Captain Pikachu.
The above trailer also confirms that the new will make its debut in Japan on April 14 with an hour-long special. The release date for the rest of the world is still a mystery, but the trailer suggests sometime this year.
Oddly enough, this trailer wasn’t shown during the Pokémon Day showcase that aired earlier this week. The Company revealed several new things, including a Netflix stop-motion animation series, downloadable content for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, and a redefinition of Pokémon Sleep.
