Pooja Bhatt has come out in support of the wrestlers’ protest against Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, and she has accused PT Usha of gaslighting the athletes

After Pooja Bhatt publicly criticised the wrestlers’ protest against the alleged sexual harassment of Wrestling Federation of India head Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, Pooja Bhatt accused PT Usha, the head of the Indian Olympic Association, of gaslighting the wrestlers.
Twitter user Pooja Bhatt expressed gratitude to @jayantrld on Friday, writing, “Thank you @jayantrld for your stand, for raising your voice, and for standing by their side while most have forsaken them. It breaks my heart to think of our best athletes being shamed and gaslighted by legends like PT Usha (insert folded hand emoji here).
Pooja replied to Jayant Singh on Twitter after reading his message, which said, “Our top wrestlers were on the streets in January and should have been heard, when they first spoke about abuse.” The remarks made by PT Usha are quite tasteless. I support my comrades in arms.
In order to get the government to address their complaint against Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik, Ravi Dahiya, and Deepak Punia have been holding protests. They had also requested action from PT Usha in a letter.
While this is going on, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh has denied the allegations and vowed to prove his innocence.
