APK ISLAMABAD – On Saturday, President Dr. Arif Alvi posted a photo of himself standing next to Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman on his Twitter account.
The president stated on his Twitter account that such statements were a powerful representation of the wonderful relationships between the people of the two nations.

“Very symbolic of the great relationship between the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” the president said in a tweet. There is no finer sign of connection than the two brothers’ glowing, warm smiles.
The president had been to Saudi Arabia to conduct Hajj.
Before the Hajj pilgrimage, which begins on Monday, President Arif Alvi landed in Jeddah on Sunday, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The deputy governor of the Makkah area, Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, met the president there while he was dressed in an ihram. Hajj was conducted by President Alvi and members of his family and staff.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, held an annual ceremony for presidents, prime ministers, senior Islamic dignitaries, visitors to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, visitors from government organizations, and heads of delegations and offices of pilgrim affairs the other day at the Royal Court, Mina Palace, according to Saudi Press Agency.
