Sonam Bajwa, a popular Punjabi actor, is also well-liked by those who watch Bollywood films. The 33-year-old, one of the most followed celebs on Instagram, recently talked about how she’s tired of being known for her appearance rather than her acting.
Sonam remarked in an interview with radio host Siddharth Kannan that she has many acting ambitions but has not been given any challenging roles. She continued by saying that, in retrospect, many people’s perceptions of her have changed and they now see her as more than simply a cute face who can’t act.
Sonam continued by saying that she eventually begged to God for the opportunity to star in a film that will change people’s perspectives. The actor went on to star in 2019’s Ardab Mutiyaran and Guddiyan Patole, both of which were endorsed by the respective authors. People enjoyed both of Sonam’s films and they did well at the box office.
Sonam elaborated that she still has a ways to go and that she does not place a high value on physical attractiveness because it fades with age. She continued, “Kooburati kitne time tak rahegi (How long will beauty last?)” (How long will acting last?) The actor also noted that women’s biological clocks tend to tick faster than men’s in their sector.
