In her DMs, Nick Jonas found out that Priyanka Chopra had recently ended a “long serious relationship.”

Priyanka Chopra is once again talking about her personal life, this time revealing the identity of the man she dated before she met and married Nick Jonas.
The actress opened up to Armchair Expert host Dax Shepherd about how her now-husband Nick asked for her number while she was in a rough relationship. Priyanka claimed, “He (Nick) slid into my DMs in Twitter,” referring to her then-boyfriend. At the time, I was in a really turbulent relationship. Here we are in 2016 and I had mutual friends who didn’t think it was a good idea for me to continue my previous relationship.
She revealed that she was hesitant to get to know Nick at first because of the age difference between them, and that their early phone conversations were short and awkward.
Priyanka continued, saying, “It was complicated on both our ends” when asked why she and Nick hadn’t gotten together sooner.
According to Kevin, Nick sneaked into Priyanka’s direct messages and asked, “You just want to give me your number, right?” “I kinda did [and I] didn’t wanna admit at that time because I was in a relationship,” Priyanka admitted, explaining why she had been hesitant to come out at the time. My long-term partnerships often lasted between six and five years. In 2016, when Nick first texted me, snuck into my DM, and we started talking, I had just ended my last long-term relationship.
She claimed that she didn’t want to pursue the relationship at the time since she was ready to settle down and that she and he were ten years apart in age. I have experienced those enjoyable days firsthand. “I was ready to get serious, but my husband turned out to be a dear old man trapped in the body of a 25-year-old,” she laughed.
Shahid Kapoor was the last celebrity Priyanka dated openly. They began dating in 2009 after meeting on the Kaminey set and broke up in 2011.
Despite rumors that Nick and Priyanka were engaged after only a few months of dating, the couple didn’t begin communicating until 2016. They confirmed their relationship in May of 2018 and made an appearance on the Met Gala red carpet in 2017. Two months later, on December 1, 2018, they tied the knot after being engaged.
In January of 2022, they surrogate-birthed a daughter whom they named Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
