Istihkam-e-Pakistan Party is the name of Tareen’s newly established political party. Tareen is a former close aide of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and played a vital role in the formation of the PTI-led government in 2018. Today marks the official debut of Tareen’s political organisation.At a news conference, Tareen announced the formation of a new political party called the Istihkam-e-Pakistan Party. He was joined at the gathering by several former leaders of the PTI, including Aleem Khan, Imran Ismail, and others.During the time that the PTI was in power, a case of money laundering was opened against Khan. This prompted Tareen to sever ties with him.

After that, some leaders of the PTI, including close aides of Khan, stated that they were leaving the party over the vandalism that occurred on May 9. Some of these leaders held Khan’s policies responsible for the attacks on the military sites.
