Rajkumar Hirani reveals how Shah Rukh Khan was on the sets of ‘Dunki’, says he surprised him – Deets inside

Fans of Shah Rukh Khan, fresh off the enormous success of ‘Pathaan,’ are now anticipating his upcoming films, ‘Dunki’ and ‘Jawan. Fans have been anticipating the first collaboration between SRK and Rajkumar Hirani ever since the announcement of the film was made with the best possible video.
Hirani has said that he wishes he had worked with Shah Rukh sooner because he makes the set a pleasant place for everyone. The director told India Today that he was caught off guard when SRK showed up to work at 7 o’clock in the morning. He praised the actor for being extremely articulate and charismatic.
The director added that SRK would invite him to team parties, but he always slept through them. Because of this, Shah Rukh would often joke that he could turn Hirani into a night owl by the end of filming.
In an interview, SRK had previously said that all of Raju Hirani’s Indian films feature equal parts comedy and heart. Therefore, ‘Dunki’ is not unique. It’s an epic journey movie that starts in India and travels all over the world before ending back there. Taapsee Pannu also has a role in “Dunki.” The name Vicky Kaushal has been bandied about as a potential cast member for the upcoming film “Dunki,” but the studio has not confirmed the rumours. Still, there were social media posts of fans posing with Vicky on the sets. The anticipated premiere date for the film is December 2023.
