In the 19th season of MTV Roadies, Rhea Chakraborty is making her television debut three years after Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death. While the actress has been the target of online abuse, one of Rhea’s gang leaders, Prince Narula, has spoken out in support of her decision, saying that the show provides a great forum through which she can reach a large audience of young people.
During an interview with a news website, Prince praised Rhea’s courage in returning to the stage. The listeners of the show, he claimed, are intelligent people who will vote for anybody they like. He went on to say that the show would still attract viewers even if they disliked him more than Rhea.
He went on to say that he isn’t concerned about Rhea as a rival since he realises that different people would root for different people in the show. He went on to say that he hopes Rhea would always give her all, and that if she has something to say, she should feel free to say it here.
Rhea recently visited Delhi to take part in the show’s auditions, which took place on Saturday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Complex in Pragati Vihar. She noted that she is happy to return and was moved by the support she received from the young people there. Sonu Sood, host of the show, was there as well.
Her most recent film appearance was in the 2021 thriller Chehre, which also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. She has appeared in a number of films and television shows, including Pepsi MTV Wassup and the films Mere Dad Ki Maruti and Jalebi.
