There has been a significant increase, up to 35%, in the salary of government employees.As per the instructions of the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Cabinet has approved a minimum pay of Rs32,000.On Friday, the federal government hiked the salaries and pensions of civil officials by up to 35% and 17.5% through ad hoc allowances. These increases went into effect immediately.According to the information provided, the salaries of the employees working in Grades 1 through 16 will be increased by 35%, while the salaries of the employees working in Grades 17 and beyond would receive a 30% hike.
