Shabana Azmi admits that she made some “uncharitable” comments against Smita Patil because of their competition

Actresses Shabana Azmi Azmi and Smita Patil were immediately placed against one other after working together in the critically acclaimed 1982 film “Arth.”
In an interview with a news website, Shabana said that she viewed Smita as a competition and that their reported feud was accurate.
Shabana further, saying that she feels bad about the ‘uncharitable’ things she said about the late actor when they were both at the height of their fame.
She shouldn’t have, Shabana continued, but she values the fact that he got along well with Smita Patil’s parents, sisters, and now Prateik (Smita Patil’s kid).
Mahesh Bhatt has previously discussed the competition between the two actors in an interview. He claimed Smita never disclosed any concerns she had with Shabana.
Bhatt disclosed that the two women had mutual respect but that Shabana had admitted that Smita’s achievement had ‘disturbed’ her.
