From Software, the creators of Elden Ring, have announced that they are working on an expansion for the game just a few days after the game’s first anniversary.

The name “Shadow of the Erdtree” was announced on the official Elden Ring Twitter account. It is unknown what the expansion will entail, but players familiar with the game’s lore (especially those who have completed the game) may have some idea. Those who are familiar with the game’s lore (especially those who have completed the game) may be able to guess at the content of the expansion. Elden Ring fans will be pleased to hear of this development, but there is currently no information regarding a release date or time frame, so it may be a while before we can once again journey to the Lands Between.
