In honour of his birthday, here’s a fun fact: Siddhant Chaturvedi was originally cast as Shah Rukh Khan’s arch-nemesis Jim in the film Pathaan

Siddhant Chaturvedi
Siddhant Chaturvedi, whose breakout roles in films like Gully Boy and Gehraiyaan have marked his arrival as a serious actor, is 30 today. The actor, who floundered for a while before achieving success, is now looking forward to a slate full of substantial roles.
In terms of his prior offers, not many people are aware that Siddhant was the initial option to portray antagonist Jim in the magnum epic Pathaan, which ended up being one of the biggest hits in Bollywood history. A Bollywood Hungama insider claims that Siddhant was first considered for the role of the villain. Siddhant has worked with Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, and Sharvari Wagh before in Aditya Chopra’s Bunty Aur Babli 2. Aditya thought Siddhant would be perfect for the part and, thanks to his athleticism, would really stand out in the moments where he and Shah Rukh square off.
The insider went on to say that despite Siddhant’s enthusiasm for the part, he ultimately opted to pass on it since he didn’t want to portray a villain so soon in his career. John Abraham, who was ultimately cast in the character, received widespread acclaim for his performance.
Malavika Mohanan’s character, Yudhra, will shortly be renamed Siddhant. He is also attached to the upcoming film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which features Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav.
