The leader of the PMLN claims that Imran’s game is over with the departure of senior party leaders On Friday, the Senior Vice President of the PMLN, Maryam Nawaz, stated that it is unacceptable for the son-in-law to hear the case against the mother-in-law.She was referring to the multiple audio leaks, including the one that allegedly involved the CJP’s mother-in-law, whose cases were to be handled by a panel chaired by a senior Supreme Court judge and two chief justices of high courts. She also mentioned that the CJP’s mother-in-law was allegedly involved in the leak.However, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court established a five-member bench to hear the cases, and he put a halt to the activities of the government-backed judicial panel. A conversation that was overheard by CJP’s mother-in-law is included in one of the audio leaks.

The vice president of the PML-N stated that the incident that occurred on May 9 was a “attack on the army.” He also stated that the former premier was being helped by his “facilitators.”Maryam further stated that “a conspiracy was [hatched] to remove Army Chief General Asim Munir as director general of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI)” and that the PTI’s Azadi March on March 25 was also organised to halt his nomination.

Maryam made these statements in a press conference. Additionally, the senior vice president of the PML-N stated that a politician does not fear going to prison, but a thief does. She accused Khan of doing “great cruelties” when he was in office and added that the PML-N “does not believe in political victimisation.” She further stated that Khan had committed these acts during his time in power. “By disbanding the assemblies, he [Khan] had the misguided notion that he could swing the balance of power in his favour.
