After suffering a heart attack earlier this year, Sushmita recently took to social media to announce that she has returned to filming and that production on Season 3 of the popular drama Aarya has restarted. Shreegauri Sawant, originally named Ganesh and raised in Pune, is a transgender activist in Mumbai. She was a petitioner in the 2013 case involving the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) in which the Supreme Court ruled that a transgender person is a legally accepted gender third.
