In ‘The Game of Girgit’ by Shreyas Talpade, Adah Sharma will play a police officer
Producers of the Shreyas Talpade film “The Game of Girgit” announced Thursday that the actor Adah Sharma has joined the cast. The anticipated thriller is directed by Vishal Pandya of “Hate Story 2” fame and produced by Gandhar Films and Studio Pvt Ltd.
The creators of “The Game of Girgit” claim that it is modelled on the viral “Blue Whale Game” that has swept the world in recent years.
The “game,” also known as the “Blue Whale Challenge,” supposedly takes place over the course of 50 days online and consists of a series of objectives set by administrators; the last task is to commit suicide.
Sharma, who was only recently featured in “The Kerala Story,” an extremely divisive film, said it was fun to portray a police officer on screen.
I portrayed a police officer in the movie “Commando,” and my character, Bhavana Reddy, was a big hit with the audience. Gayatri Bhargav plays a pretty unique police officer in this role. The 31-year-old actor said in a statement that he enjoyed playing a cop for a change.
Talpade, whose character in “The Game of Girgit” is an app developer, has expressed his interest in the film’s story.
I can’t wait to get started on this trip. The star of “Iqbal” stated, “It also has a powerful message that we strongly feel should reach the audiences, especially the kids and the youngsters of the nation.”
According to Pandya, the generation that populates “The Game of Girgit” is oblivious to the dangers of posting personal information about themselves on social networking sites and mobile applications.
