On Wednesday in Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with the cast and crew of the new film “The Kerala Story.”
Yogi Bhaskar, the Chief Minister, met with the actors Adah Sharma, Sudipto Sen, and Vipul Amrutlal Shah.
Vipul Shah strongly suggested that CM Yogi watch the film during their discussion.
The state’s chief executive waived taxes on the movie earlier Tuesday.
The film ‘The Kerala Story’ will be released in Uttar Pradesh tax-free, tweeted Chief Minister Yogi.
Director Sudipto Sen said in an interview, “We came to thank the Honourable Chief Minister to declare the film tax-free and giving a chance for the citizen of Uttar Pradesh to watch this film.”
“Uttar Pradesh government and Yogi ji have taken this step and boosted our morale a lot and strengthened our thinking,” the film’s producer, Vipul Shah, said. As a result of the film’s widespread popularity, he has effectively communicated his message to the masses. We owe a debt of gratitude to the CM for making that possible.
On May 12, a special screening will take place in the Lok Bhawan, and the CM and his cabinet members are expected to attend.
On May 6, Madhya Pradesh eliminated the state tax on the film.
The plot of “The Kerala Story” centres on the radicalization of young Hindu women in that state, many of whom become involved in terrorist organisations. The group applauded the Yogi government’s efforts to prevent “love jihad” and religious conversion by passing the Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Ordinance, 2020.
