I find it difficult to articulate why Vampire Survivors is one of my favourite video games of 2022. It’s the kind of game that each person should try out for themselves to determine whether or not they enjoy it. This piece of information is for the people who most certainly will. New paid downloadable content for the indie darling poncle was revealed today. Lake Foscari, a new forest map introduced in Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari, is where parents send their children to train as wizards, fighters, and spies at the Foscari Academy.
According to the designers, Lake Foscari is a “continent-size forest” with numerous biomes, much like the map found in the Legacy of the Moonspell add-on. Additionally, the downloadable content for Vampire Survivor will include eight new playable characters, thirteen new weaponry, and seven new pieces of music. If the trailer’s kazoo is giving you flashbacks to the worst of the Yoshi series, don’t worry; that instrument isn’t featured in the actual songs.
